Here are 10 Tips for Group Travelers! I love travelling in groups with friends or family. However it’s hard keeping everyone together. Now here are the secrets to travelling together.
- Break in small groups or partners. Don’t feel obligated to stay together, breaking apart into partners or small groups is convenient too. Especially since some people might want to do something different and you use your time wisely.
- Split the bill. You are in a group, arrange the idea that in some things splitting the bill can keep the cost less.
- Have contacts. Make sure you have everyone’s contact information and share your location if anything wrong happens. Also an extra just in case make sure you have their emergency contact family member if any Emergency Room situation occurs you can notify their family.
- Jobs. Everyone in the group should have a job; For example, person 1 books the hotels, person 2 plans the events, person 3 keeps track of the time, person 4 reviews everyone’s job and is the leader. These jobs can be small or big but assigning other people task can help to lower the amount of stress anyone has because they know someone has their back.
- Budget. Have a budget so you know how much you can spend on meals, rides, and anything else. Also plan to have money left, bring extra money so you never run into a undesired problem. To add on, no one wants to feel limited with their money so having extra on hand can ease any stress.
- Pre-plan. Preplanning many events and attractions will make it easier to have your day planned out which is more convenient.
- Pictures. One of the cutest things about going with a group when traveling is the pictures! Take group photos and the memories are awesome to look back. The more the merrier, right!
- Discounts. Many places have group discounts, make sure you all get the best deal possible and research where your going for more information on discounts.
- Transportation. Decide on a rental vehicle that can fit everyone or two. Depending on the location, duration, and events of your trip you might need a car or two.
- Type of vacay. Which vacation can fit your budget and has something everyone likes. A rental vacation home in a different country and you guys tour the city and its attractions. In contrast, a cruise where the organizational planning is less, all you do is decide where your going to be that day. Find everyone’s type of vacation and go for it!
